Terms and Conditions

• Members can borrow any number of items. The loan period may be restricted due to availability. The resources must be returned in a clean state, complete, by the due date.
• MIDLOTHIAN PLAY BASE reserve the right to recover the cost of broken or lost items but do appreciate that accidents do happen.
• No refunds will be made on memberships.
• Overdue charges may apply if the toys are not returned in time for the next collection.
• Equipment and resources are loaned to members for their own use only. Members borrowing on behalf of a group or organisation must ensure that the group has its own membership.
• The borrower must ensure the responsible and appropriate use of loan items and agrees to accept liability for any accidents or incidents involving the equipment during the loan period.
• Any change of address of the member must be notified to MIDLOTHIAN PLAY BASE. Groups and Statutory Organisations are to inform MIDLOTHIAN PLAY BASE of any change in representative or if they cease to exist.
• When visiting MIDLOTHIAN PLAY BASE or an access point all children remain the responsibility of their parent/guardian.
• Data Protection Act 1998. The information you supply is for the running and development of the MIDLOTHIAN PLAY BASE Resource Service. When you sign the membership form you are providing your consent to MIDLOTHIAN PLAY BASE holding your personal information for this purpose. The information will be held for the duration of your membership. This information will be used only for the purpose for which it is given and will not be passed on to a third party.
